How to secure your spot
Your $600 non-refundable "placeholder" deposit will secure your spot! We have divided program payments into three installments as listed below.👇

$600 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is due at the time of booking

2nd payment is due 60 days prior to the teacher training.

3rd and final payment is due on or before 30 days of training
If you enroll within the 60-day window before the training starts you are required to pay the $600 deposit AND the 2nd installment upon signing up.
Payment Obligation
Please note - Enrollment constitutes a financial commitment to the full tuition amount. The Academy incurs substantial fixed costs in reliance on enrollment, including instructors, guest presenters, facilities, and materials.
Accordingly, tuition is non-refundable except as expressly stated in this policy or as required by applicable law.
The placeholder deposit of $600 remains non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances as per agreed terms/conditions*
Cancellation policy
BMC Yoga Academy Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) programs are intentionally limited in size. Enrollment secures a reserved seat that is removed from availability upon registration. By enrolling, participants acknowledge that their reservation directly impacts program capacity and the Academy’s ability to accept other applicants.
Because of this, we must enforce a FIRM cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Participant
Before Program Start
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
• More than 30 days before start date: Payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit, may be issued as a credit only toward a future program. No cash refunds will be issued.
• 30 days or fewer before start date: No credits will be provided, except at the sole discretion of the Academy.
The Academy is not responsible for a participant’s inability to attend for any reason, including personal, medical, scheduling, or financial circumstances.
After Program Start
Once the program has begun, all payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, including in cases of:
• Withdrawal
• Non-attendance
• Injury, illness, or personal circumstances
• Non-completion of the program
This reflects the immediate and ongoing costs incurred by the Academy upon program commencement.
Cancellation or Changes by the Academy
The Academy reserves the right to cancel or make reasonable changes to instructors, schedules, curriculum, or format.
Before Program Start
• Participants will receive either:
o A full refund, or
o A transfer to a future program
After Program Start
If due to circumstances within the Academy’s control, liability is limited to a prorated portion of tuition paid, as determined at the sole discretion of the Academy.
The Academy is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond its control (including but not limited to weather, government actions, pandemic, or emergencies).
Limited Transfers & Credits
Credits:
• Are valid for 12 months from the original program start date
• May be used only by the original participant
• Are subject to availability and any price increases
• Have no cash value and are non-transferable
All transfers or credits may be granted solely at the Academy’s discretion.
Code of Conduct & Dismissal
Participants must adhere to the Academy’s Code of Conduct. The Academy reserves the right to dismiss any participant for violations or disruptive behavior.
In such cases:
• No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New Jersey law, the Academy’s liability is limited to the amount of tuition paid.
The Academy is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including travel costs, lost income, or other personal expenses.
Consumer Rights Notice
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or limit any rights under applicable New Jersey law, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act.
Acknowledgment & Agreement
By enrolling, participants:
• Acknowledge that they have read and understand this policy
• Agree to be bound by its terms
• Accept responsibility for the full financial commitment
