Program Policies
How to secure your spot
Your $500 non-refundable "placeholder" deposit will secure your spot! We have divided payments into three installments as listed below.

$500 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is due at the time of enrollment

2nd payment is due 60 days prior to the retreat.

3rd and final payment is due on or before 30 days of retreat/trainings/programs
If you enroll within the 60-day window before the retreat starts you are required to pay the $500 non-refundable/non-transferrable deposit AND the 2nd installment upon signing up.
Payment Obligation
Please note- Enrollment in an activity constitutes a financial commitment to the full amount. MSal Yoga incurs substantial fixed costs in reliance on enrollment, including but not limited to instructors, guest presenters, facilities, and materials. Accordingly, payment is non-refundable except as expressly stated in this policy or as required by applicable law. The placeholder deposit of $500 remains non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances as per agreed terms/conditions*
Things to know
📍Address to the property will be given the week before the retreat/program starts
👉Substance-free retreat / programs
A substance-free environment is one in which all guests agree to keep their space free from substances at all times. Substances are defined to include alcohol, marijuana, cigarettes, other smoking materials, and illicit and illegal drugs.
👉Like adult summer camp- We're all in it together!
This is not a retreat center. The property is a private house on 10 acres with rooms throughout the property. Every room on the property will have shared bathrooms. Meals will be "family style," where we serve ourselves and assist the chef with rinsing our dishes and preparing them for sanitizing after meals.
👉Close shared spaces
This is a communal retreat with shared bedrooms and shared bathrooms. If for any reason, you do not feel safe being in such close quarters with other guests due to concerns about COVID-19, it's best not to join this trip and wait until a time that feels best for you. We will be doing many more of these next year.
Cancellation Policy
MSal Yoga activities are intentionally limited in size. Enrollment secures a reserved seat that is removed from availability upon registration. By enrolling, participants acknowledge that their reservation directly impacts program capacity and ability to accept other applicants. Because of this, we must enforce a FIRM cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Participant
Before Start of Event
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
•More than 30 days before start date: Payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit, may be issued as a credit only toward a future program. No cash refunds will be issued.
•30 days or fewer before start date: No credit will be provided, except at the sole discretion of MSal Yoga.
MSal Yoga is not responsible for a participant’s inability to attend for any reason, including personal, medical, scheduling, or financial circumstances.
After Start of Event
Once the activity has begun, all payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, including in cases of:
•Withdrawal
•Non-attendance
•Injury, illness, or personal circumstances
•Non-completion of the activity
This reflects the immediate and ongoing costs incurred upon the activities commencement.
Cancellation or Changes by MSal Yoga
MSal Yoga reserves the right to cancel or make reasonable changes to instructors, schedules, itineraries, curriculum, venues or format.
Before Start of Event
Participants may receive either a full refund, or a transfer or credit to a future activity
After Start of Event
If cancellation occurs after the activity begins due to circumstances within MSal Yoga’s control, liability is limited to a prorated portion of payments made, as determined at our sole discretion.
MSal Yoga is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond its control (including but not limited to weather, government actions, pandemic, or emergencies).
MSal Yoga is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including travel costs, lost income, or other personal expenses. We strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance. Please see below for more information.
Limited Transfers & Credits
Credits:
•Are valid for 12 months from the original event start date
•May be used only by the original participant
•Are subject to availability and any price increases
•Have no cash value and are non-transferable
All transfers or credits may be granted solely at MSal Yoga’s discretion.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New Jersey law, MSal Yoga’s liability is limited to the amount of payments made.
Code of Conduct & Dismissal
Participants must adhere to our Code of Conduct. MSal Yoga reserves the right to dismiss any participant for violations or disruptive behavior.
In such cases:
•No credits, or transfers will be issued
Consumer Rights Notice
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or limit any rights under applicable New Jersey law, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act.

Travel Insurance
👉Travel insurance is strongly recommended, including coverage for cancellation, interruption, medical care, and retreat-related activities . None of us can predict unexpected events in our lives. Contact your provider for explanation on travel insurance policies. They can explain your options. We recommend contacting your provider at the time you are committing to your retreat, as there may be timelines for coverage, it is not advisable to wait to purchase your coverage!
👉Should you elect to not purchase travel insurance, note that you will be assuming 100% of any costs incurred for trip cancellation or trip interruption. Be sure to understand the fine print of the policy you select to ensure you know exactly what is and isn't covered.
