Compassion in Action

Helping Wild Horses Find Safety and Sanctuary

We believe compassion extends beyond ourselves. It includes one another, the natural world, and the animals with whom we share it. Our practice invites us to bring that compassion into everyday life through meaningful action.

That belief is at the heart of our involvement in helping rescue wild horses whose lives are at risk, giving them the opportunity to live in safety and peace.

A Safe Place to Call Home

Through generous contributions of our community, we have funded the rescue, transportation and the care of these beautiful souls in need. The horses we have helped save now reside at Little Orphan Animals, an animal sanctuary in Cornville, Arizona. There, they have a safe home and receive the care they need.

We are grateful to play a part in their story and to recognize the dedication of those who care for them. Saving a horse’s life is the beginning; providing a secure home and ongoing care gives that rescue lasting meaning.

Bringing Our Practice Into the World

Yoga asks us to consider how we live, how we care, and how our choices affect other living beings. The principle of ahimsa, non-harming, encourages us to approach life with kindness and respect.

Supporting these horses, and any animal in need, is a personal expression of that commitment. It is an opportunity to put compassion into practice and help protect lives that deserve care.

With the help of all of the amazing people (it takes a village!) who have donated thus far, we have been able to help rescue several beautiful, majestic horses so far.

Please join Us in Caring

We are beyond blessed to be here to witness this. Our work doesn’t end with any one rescue, there is so much more to do. We believe we should be the humans an animal needs when everyone else fails them.

We invite you to learn more about Little Orphan Animals and the work involved in maintaining a sanctuary for rescued animals. Sharing their mission or contributing directly to their care is a meaningful way to help.

Together, small acts of compassion can make a lasting difference.
